Here is Israel's border wall:

Mexico deports more illegal Central Americans than the USA does: http://www.businessinsider.com/mexico-now-deports-more-central-americans-than-the-us-2015-6

MEXICO CITY (AP) — Mexico now deports more Central American migrants than the United States, a dramatic shift since the U.S. asked Mexico for help a year ago with a spike in illegal migration, especially among unaccompanied minors.

Do you know why these countries protect their borders?

I get that the Middle East is a conflictive area, so I quite understand why they're doing that. But it's not like I support them. We'll have to stop building walls, because this situation creates hate both sides of the walls. That's not healthy. If we continue to build more, the cycle will never stop. I truly believe that what we need is education and cultural understanding, and that's the way to understand ourselves, to understand other cultures. Not promoting hate against a race and just keep them outside like it's the Black Death or something. People like Trump take advantage of this fear to win supporters.

It's about being one of the most desirable countries in the world to live in from an economic standpoint.   Lots of people want to enter your country.  Lots of people want to experience that "lifestyle".   Unfortunately,  you can't allow everyone in.  It needs to be controlled and maintained,  allowing massive illegal immigration enter your country is a sure-fire way to have a whole host of problems. (Economically, Criminally, etc).

It's about rule of law.   Why do illegal mexican immigrants who break our laws the moment they cross into the country because they 'want to' get higher priority over the indian mother of (3) with her masters degree who has been waiting 5 years to legally immigrate into the country?   In what world is that fair to you?

Trump isn't taking advantage of fear, he's taking advantage of common sense that you've never heard uttered by politicians publicly before because of that, people believe he's speaking more truthfully and telling it to them straight.
