He's a businessman. In terms of his popularity, I am taking his power seriously.
He's rich. You and I easily know that he didn't become rich by being a religious, kind, and honest person. He was the opposite.
Trump is appealing to Americans. That is my theory. He desires power and wealth, so he is most likely exaggerating his viewpoints to make it easier for him to gain immense power..
