I really want the game. I'm not a fan of Ratchet and Clank, but I've heard it's similar to Jak and Daxter (obviously with differences). And I love Jak and Daxter gameplay, so I really want to check it out.

However, the price bugs me. 35-40 euro (even in the PS Store) leads me to believe that the game might be lacking content. I think I'll wait for the reviews.

They cut the price of all the Ratchet games after A4O because it became clear starting with ACiT that the fanbase was dwindling. Possibly the best game in the series came out three years ago for $30, and it was up to like 8 hours long depending how much you did (for reference, ACiT normally hit about 10 hours for like double the price). Sony's just given up hope that people will buy the games at $60 anymore rather than wait until it drops.

From what we've seen it should hit around 8-10 hours if not longer. The first game was VERY big and unless they outright skip a bunch of levels they have to hit 18 different planets/Space stations. Of those we've seen about half of them, with one or two notable combinations of similar planets. It's pretty much a spot for spot remake with the current gameplay style though, so you shouldn't have any worries about price.

Obviously, OT, I'm buying it and seeing the movie day one. I'm hoping to get a couple reviews up on my YouTube channel for the first three games (maybe even four if I have time) to compare to the new game and movie when they come out.

You should check out my YouTube channel, The Golden Bolt!  I review all types of video games, both classic and modern, and I also give short flyover reviews of the free games each month on PlayStation Plus to tell you if they're worth downloading.  After all, the games may be free, but your time is valuable!
