Had this discussion on Skype. As a December member I've felt the shaft. 2 things
1. Extend the cutoff and people before whereever the new cutoff is are going to feel cheated
2. It'll be strange if a 2015 newcomer of the year isn't a 2015 member
Although you miss the chance at being a Newcomer of year there's always GUT
