If they can fix all of these issues that the first Knack had, then I fail to see the problem with a sequel. When a major developer decides to create a sequel to a game that got mediocre reviews, you can assume that they took notice of all the criticism. If they can make it better and fix the game's problems, then I'd rather see them do that than throwing away a new IP that could potentially be good.
