And that is a very good reason to stick with windows OS, not problem there, but as pointed out Sony is also supporting an OS now outside of windows OS based.
Sony Sold off SOE, their PC arm, but in the case of Mobile they are investing more into chips and network structure to include AndroidOS so really , Windows OS is understandable not a priority platform for Sony, as for making an OS its not making a OS per say, but it is tweaking the OS to support PlayStation.
