The actual sticks on most Xbox one controllers fit really loosely on the center pin/gyro. Some controller you can grab the thumb stick and move it straight up and down. A tiny piece of paper around the pin can usually fix it. That's the first issue. Another issue I see a lot is the plastic keeper that holds the bar for the left and right click "L3 R3" buttons breaks right down the center causing everything too actually feel loose and drift really badly. I've fixed and and replaced a few but of my own I had two with drift issues. One just drifts and I just replaced the entire analog gyro itself and the other the clip broke so I super glued the add a little hot glue on. These controllers shouldn't have this problem.
