I've had three regular controllers and two of them have broken (one drifting and one the buttons broke and my original Day One controller is still going strong). The build quality on Xbox One controllers seem woefully inadequate, which is disappointing considering the 360 controller was great from the get-go.
However, both me and my cousin each bought an Xbox One Elite controller and so far we haven't had a single problem with them...even when I dropped mine by accident into a 400 degree oven!
