No one can run as fast as Usain Bolt. Does that make him a mutant or just faster than everyone else? At some point all of the human race will end up with similar and/or same powers (according to the MU), it's just a matter of time.
They are born just like everyone else and get their powers at puberty as their x-gene activates. Mutants are still human, even if you dismiss them as such....
... so take your mutant hate talk else where.
