I take issue with the expected idea that more xbox fans are needed for diversity, particularly when the lack of interest in the platform seems to stem from the lack of diversity the xbox platform offers.

That's hogwash. You don't think more of a different fanbase isn't going to add different opinions/ideas/votes? Maybe not needed but it'll certainly generate it.

Xbox Platform has plenty to offer is terms of diversity, not sure where you are going with that.

I think it could be argued that last gen, or the gen before, that xbox gamers as a fanbase would add different oppinions and idea. Today, tho, I don't see a huge difference in between them and those playing the same multiplatform games on other platforms.

So i'll ask: What particularly do you think Xbox gamers (or even Xbox focused gamers) add to discussion? Traditionally there have been many expereinces only found on xbox, so this question anwsered itself for me in past years.

I guess I would simplify it this way. I do think that a different fanbase could provide diversity, and that diversity is good for its own sake. I don't belive that the Xbox fanbase is actually different enough to fill that need when generally they are buying and playing the same games as everyone else.
