Steam might be in trouble if this happens.

What could Steam even do to counter an eco system that isn't owned by them?.

I mean Steam so far has the bigger library and full mod support with other features MS still hasn't supported for years and still shows no signs of. Has MS said anything at all about showing mod support for any of their store exclusive games the way Valve has for years for their own?. I'm not a Vlave fanboy btw but I still see Steam being better than their store and well I have no interest in getting an X1 so the deal is moot to me and I know I'm definitely not alone on that deal. It;s likely to be a great deal for those that own both a PC and X1 (pretty slow number of users I would imagine), but for those that don't, it's unlikely to get them to grab a box for £300+ just to get a game and then get it free for their PC.
