The most active Xbox users in XBE didnt care for the sales (from what i could see), i think everybody knew Xbox One was gonna get destroyed in sales but it never bothered them, XBE was healthy because it was a safe haven for positive opinions on Xbox, without the worry that someone was gonna attack you over those opinions. The reason why most of those users left or become less active was due to the way Jays ban was handled (Anybody who is in his cirlce of friends knows exactly what happend, but its not up for debate here) and due to XBE being closed. On the postive side tho a few of the more active XBE members have returned to XBR. |
Yep. There might have been a small handful who left because of sales but a majority left/post way less for the reasons you listed, plus how toxic Xbone discussion was here in general.
