Been playing it since yesterday but haven't gotten too far. It's my first walking sim type game and so far it's ok, nothing really amazing but ok. The voice acting is actually quite nice and whenever a tune eventually decides to play it fits the tone of the game and it;s surroundings. Story wise it's alright, definitely has a sob story to tell and though I do have empathy, i don't have too much because I can sort of already tell the plot with the way the characters talk to the actions that are happening.
Also I heard the game doesn't really have much replay value and I caught the first few mins of Jim Sterling playing the game only to find the starting choices he made didn't make much of a difference compared to mine which kinda makes me scratch my head with choice making when they don't give you actual outcomes.
Still it;s priced a lot better than the Witness for an indie game and I'd say go for it. The PC version even sports being able to have your photos taken in-game to be printed by the devs themselves and sent to you (or be like me and take them to your local photo/copy store).
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
