During the NES days, even though I read video game magazines, I almost always bought my games blindly and I was almost always disappointed! Either the games were short as heck (not even a couple of hours long) or they were just total shovelware with good box art. Luckily, I was able to trade for whatever I wanted thanks to unsuspecting friends!

You tricked your friends lol i would usually rent games to save the risk of being disappointed every time.
