Reading about people's reactions to devil's third in a different thread made me wonder whether if it is always better to make an informed buying choice, or is it always better to buy a game you know you are going to like? For example, If I only bought the games that I really wanted, I would have never discovered Yoshi's Island DS, Legend of Zelda, or Zack & Wiki.

I did that with Pikmin. I barely knew anything about the franchise, and it was quite a few months since the Wii U had gotten any title at all, so I was ''I'll try it.'' The purchase was definitely worth it.
