Well the FF series is quite popular and I'm guessing the sales are decent since almost every FF game from the old eras are on it (excluding VIII).

 

There's apparently controllers you can attach to the mobile devices to replace the touchscreen controls.

 

As for battery life ya....I cant really see myself playing it long term on my iPhone but if I get a iPad sure :O

 

And yeah the PS3 PSN version is like around $8 or $9.

Ah yes I forgot about the controllers for mobile phones. But yeah the battery thing is another issue that would come up as well. 

Also poor VIII getting the shaft :(
