I'm playing UC1 for the first time too and my biggest problem with it is your 5th point. I get so frustrated when Drake randomly falls and dies, that mechanic is so badly done. I've never played an UC game and I really liked Tomb Raider's Reboot and since ppl say that they are similar I thought the climbing dynamics in UC would be as good as TR's but it isn't.
That's really my only big issue with the game.
