On February 8, 1991, three guys from California founded a company you've likely never heard of, called Silicon & Synapse. Today, that same company marked 25 years of incredibly successful operation, most of it under a different name you certainly have heard of: Blizzard Entertainment.

An all-new, almost-flying menace known as Phorusrhacidae rapidesultor has joined the strange realm of Ark: Survival Evolved. But don't worry about struggling with that tongue-twisting handle, because you can just call it the Terror Bird for short.

NIGHT IN THE WOODS WILL BE OUT THIS FALL
http://www.pcgamer.com/night-in-the-woods-will-be-out-this-fall/
Night in the Woods is a 2D adventure/exploration game starring a cat named Mae who returns to her hometown after a dropping out of college to discover that things aren't quite as she remembers them. It's all about running, jumping, astral projection, wasting time with loser friends, discovering secrets, playing bass, and breaking stuff—potentially very cool, in other words. It came out of Kickstarter in the fall of 2013 with more than four times its $50,000 goal, but the “estimated delivery date” of January 2015 didn't happen. Fortunately, the wheels of development have continued to turn, and developer Infinite Fall announced today that the game will be out later this year.

Usually, if a virus stops adapting, it's finished. Fittingly, Plague Inc: Evolved will receive its final Early Access update on February 18, wrapping up two years of development. To their credit, the devs have implemented each and every feature they pledged at the start of the project in addition to requests from players.

Science has gone too far. One minute you're enjoying a spot of light testing, the next you're trapped in the infinite, unknowable void between dimensions, outside of space and time itself, staring at the side of your own head through a kaleidoscope. It's remarkable no one has tried it before.
