Realistically Does the Console NX Have Any Chance Against PS4/XB1?

I think it's going to be hard to convience a Xbox/PS4 owner that they need a NX too, or that they should choose one over the other two. I don't mean forum users , but people who like to play FIFA, COD etc. All my workmates have a PS4, they don't even know what a Wii U is.
