If we put everything into such a small context we can all come to a conclusion such as yours or mine. However its the rest of the tech and how that tech works that makes it good.

What people dont realize is that modern mobile phones have pretty much all the tech that a VR headset would use build in. Even the first 2 versions of the Rift where using Samsung Galaxy note screens.

Exactly, even OculusRift DK1 & 2 used Samsung Galaxy note 2, and 3 screens in the prototypes.
