Why shouldn't we criticize Israel?

As time moves on, political correctness makes it difficult to criticize people- from Muslims to feminism, you can easily be referred to as the douche for a simple comment.

I've now realized that I am labeled as a Jew hater due to my anti-Israeli stance. However, I'd like to question why? People will usually say, "well, what about Palestine?". Or they'll think I magically support Hamas. Strange though. I've actually gained my anti-Israeli stance by the help of some Jews. Besides, it's not as though being anti-Israeli means you hate Jews. It means you're against the State of Israel and its actions. In this case, I'm also against the majority of zionists(what they say can be absolutely disgusting. i can show links if you'd like).

Is it actually that bad to criticize them? I mean, we donate billions to them, yet they do nothing. They also managed to take advantage of their situation and beat the living shit out of Gaza. Is that truly fair? 

I can assure you that a huge reason as to why Israel is still supported is because people still have the false belief of "god's land" coming back. Why would god's land need billions of dollars, support from another country, top of the line military, and illegal settlement in order to be revived? Do people seriously accept anything a book tells them?

 

Of course, I'm open to a discussion(or debate if that's what you like to call it). Perhaps I'm missing something that I am currently overlooking. One thing I won't discuss is whether Islam or Jewdism is mr.bad guy. It's become obvious that the situation is still happening because a small fraction of both sides are extremists and want to kill each other.
