I also usually freak out when I see the rise of far-left and far-right ideologies, because such ideologies often indicate that society has become hyper-polarized to a dangerous level.

I do have a personal question for you, and you may of course not answer if it makes you feel uncomfortable. But as an individual from an Arab background are you not affraid of what some of the people who support Trump might do? I am from the Middle East as well and converted to Christianity and I am absolutly terrified of the precedence that Trump being elected would set. If he were to start a trend of massive deportations in the West then there would be no place for people like me to go because staying would mean death (assuming they use force) and going back would mean death (the regressive country I was born in kills those who convert to Christianity).

Btw, for Trump supporters saying that he is advocating no such thing as mass deportations, I understand that. But I still feel uneasy namely because he has flip-flopped on several issues.

I don't mind you asking. People misinterpret me all the time, so I enjoy questions.

I'm more afraid for my family actually. My mother wears the veil(and one of my sisters), so I am always scared that someone may attack her. I now am paranoid to the point where I carry my sharpest knife to protest me from any hooligans.

As for myself, I do worry. However, I choose to ignore my feelings and keep attacking the buffoons that they are. As much as I hate Trump though, I do think people are overexaggerating his current actions. Can he become as bad as Hitler(or worse)? Quite easily. Will he? 50/50. Depends on whether he's satisfied with his wealth or not. I do not see why people think I support him. I'm against all major political parties. They're all the same. They all support the same lies, deceive us all, and choose to hate on certain groups of people.

As long as I live in America, I will be hated, harrassed, and targeted by people. Yet, I never cared. I'm attacked simply because I point out the power zionists have, and the violence Israel commits. I'm hated for my ethnicity. I'm hated for my anti-liberal and anti-conservative approach. I'm hated because I support facts. That's simply it. I won't take Trump supporters seriously because they chose fear over rational discussions.

Thank you for the response. I quite agree that people have been overexaggerating too much in terms of this election (to be honest I have overexaggarted things as well) and that quite a lot of people on both sides have allowed emotion the take the place of rational thinking. While introspecting, I often wonder if my own emotions causing me to worry irrationally (if Trump supporters on this forum would like to weigh in on this with an opinion that would be great...lol).

I know this will probably not make much of a difference in the grand scheme of things, but despite holding differing opinions, I do not hate you (or really anyone else on this forum). I am also quite saddened to hear that you have to live with such worries about the prospects of your family's safety and your own safety. Sadly fear and worrying has become the narrative of our times. I do hope that in the future circumstances become such so that you (and everyone else here and around the world) can worry less and enjoy life with their friends, family, work...and video games :)
