I already have a PS4, Wii U, Gaming PC with GTX 970 along with a 3DS and Vita.

Come on VG Chartz, help me make the decision. Should I pay a bit more and get one now? Remembering I have access to most games already. Here are the games I really want on the XB1:

Rare Replay (seems wrong half of this isn't on Wii U)
Sunset Overdrive
Forza Horizon 2
All the Halo shizzle (really like the idea of playing the first one at 60fps)
Dead Rising 3 (The PC port is meant to be poor I think?)

Is this content worth laying out £250 for a console? Is anything likely to come out in the near future that will reinforce this purchase?

Since I also had a PS4, Wii U, Gaming PC with GTX 970, 3DS and Vita, before I bought an additional Xbox One, I can understand your situation.

With multiplatform games, I try to buy the best version of the game, so if they don't fuck up the PC version and PS4 version, they take precedence over the XBO version. That leaves Xbox-exclusive games and multiplatform games without a proper PC/PS4 version for my Xbox One.

Edit: I made a flowchart of my version priorities: http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=213331&page=1# ;)

TheHalo collection + Sunset Overdrive + Forza Horizon 2 + Rare Replay alone were worth it IMHO. Halo 5 will be my next XBO purchase. I'm also looking forward to Quantum Break, Gears of War 4, Scalebound, Crackdown 3 and ReCore.

Do yourself a favor and buy Dead Rising 3 (I love that game!) on PC instead of the XBO-version... 40 - 80 fps in native 1080p (GTX970-PC) instead of 20 - 30 fps in 720p (XBO).

Yeah I think it will be worthwhile.

Thanks for the input guys. I've decided I'm going to pay a chunk off my credit card instead and play the waiting game for an amazingly priced XBO bundle (the deals before Xmas were much better than is currently on) and now have full Wife approval for the purchase whenever the time comes :D
