It exists to the extent that "anglophone" or before it became unified "German" exist. Also most people labeled as hispanic have hispanic ancestry, but also have other ancestry, from Africa or the Americas. Hence hispanic is not a racial, but rather an linguistic and mildly ethnic description, in the same way people talk about the "

Side-note - The words "Espana" and "Spain" come from the latin word "Hispania." So yes, the place of "Hispania" still exists, the definition is just more narrow (before it included
