Kasz, no one said men don't get raped by women. Thats why I said I don't know what that has to do with anything. You've been writing essays on something I haven't been arguing against. I provided a quick statistic I found on google because I thought it was a bit ludicrous to be trying to say that women raping men is even remotely as common as men raping women. The only thing I've been arguing is how you all have been saying things that don't tie into the original point... or the beginning of the derailing of this thread at all. Its as if you didn't read what I wrote, or perhaps you read it and misinterpreted it or twisted it. And because of how it was like you were ignoring me completely, I was more than a bit disgusted.

I'm kind of glad this thread got derailed though, the only reason why I posted in it was because I was really disgusted with some of the things you people were saying. Theres a difference between voicing your opinion and being disrespectful.

You said.

"Also, I have a little grudge against "men" due to things like sexual assault. Some guys go a little too far to get laid. It doesn't leave a good impression of men in general when guys are willing to go to jail and traumatize a girl just to get their dicks wet. "

Doing so implies that Men are the only people that rape since you have nothing against women despite women being capable and doing the same things. You never once suggested that men don't get raped by women until you posted that statistic which seemed to attempt to minamize it. (Which was biased because of the above reasons)

That statement is what lead to everything.

If you would of replied after that in any way to acknowledge that rape happens to men, and that women are capable of raping and that while it doesn't happen as often is fairly significant, there would be no disagreement instead of trying to marginalize it.

There was no twisting. If that wasn't what you meant, you simply mistated something and then offered no correction when called out on it.

Why does her statement have to be some vast conspiracy? Is it possible that her train of tought applied simply to her own traumatic experiences and did not expand that far? Perphaps she is not interested in girls and was simply giving some of her feelings on men. What you are doing, and she said this herself, is not listening. She mentioned something terrible that happened and you went off on an tangent to berate her.

Let me illustrate what you did. This is effectually what you have done:

Imagine if I was to tell you that I have an unrelenting hatred of Drunk Drivers because one skided across 4 lanes of traffic and killed my wife. And then here comes Kasz216 riding on his tangent, and says:

" YOUR TEH BIAZED, NOT ALL PEOPLE WHO CAUSE WRECKS ARE DRUNK DRIVERS!!!!!11!! LOL. Some times sober people cause accidents."

It really doesnt matter, and that would just piss me off.

Completely false argument. Drunk Drivers are in a car accident because they are drunk. Male Rapists are not rapists because they are male.

Your comparing them proves my point.

Her aguement would be like saying "I hate black people because one of them caused a wreck that killed my wife."

Except it wasn't even that at first because she didn't mention the assault at first.

All she stated was the equivlenet of "I hate black people because they get in car wrecks that kill people."

Not lets say you read the statement "I hate black people beacuse they get in car wrecks that kill people." Are you really going to let that statement stand?

Now then. Say you say "More people then just black people get in car accidents and car accidents that kill people. I once was in a car accident caused by a white person."

Then that reply is "That's not the same"

What conclusion would you draw... I would say even being the victim of such an account by a person doesn't give people a right to having a stereotyped bias. Gives you a better understanding of why they have that viewpoint, but does not make it excusable.  Stereotypes should never be excusable.

The problem is she presented it as if only males rape.... and the fact that they rape is because they are males. Then never acknoledged the opposite except with a number meant to minamilize the amount.

Had their been a simple. Yes it happens. No arguments would of progressed further.
