I guess Dirt was overshadowed after a couple of so-so releases in the series. This entry though seems to make the series get back on it's feet. Looks really great and the handling is superb if you master it.
It's just that it gets overshadowed due the fact that its "only" a rally game when you get racers that combine more modes/variations
