There is, but the problem is education. You think that father really knows any better way? He obviously does not actually beat the child, and him and the school do not think this is abuse. It is something about the area that they live. This is the norm for all of them or he would have been in trouble already. I agree with what you are saying, but not everyone is advanced as what we wish people could be. As I mentioned above, the father probably had a rough childhood as well and is doing the best he can. Probably had terrible parents if any at all, and went to the same schools, if any at all. What do we know? Can the Father even do basic math or English to help his child? Is this the only thing he can think of doing to save his kid from the streets like he possibly had to endure? Desperate people in desperate situations. Is this the case here? I do not know, but I can only imagine.

I agree with you. A lot of parents themselves didn't have the best upbringing, which can cause alot of complications when dealing with their child
