It's nothing new. It's probably been mentioned by now, but Minecraft's dev is owned by Microsoft now, and they've said they still sell on PlayStation platforms.
I wouldn't be shocked if a potential sequel hits PS platforms, albeit at least a year or 2 afterwards.
But honestly, when I read this, I was thinking Planetside 2.
