Not to mention when you research digital sales on gaming consoles, they are on a rise.

Yes it says the sales are still relatively small when compared to total numbers sold, but more and more people are losing this "it has to be a physical copy" mentality.
Also, when thinking about how long eshops for all the gaming consoles have been around, I'd say the switch to digital only would have been the slowest move in history.
