I miss cartridges. I really hope thats what happends, with their unified software ecosystem for their handheld/console, you cant just ignore physical releases for games imo.

There are not enough of people like you for Nintendo to care, to be frank. The amount of consumers Nintendo will gain in this move will exponencially eclipse the insignificant few consumers who will refuse to buy an all digital platform no matter what games they want comes out for it purely on principal.

The thing is... Wii U isnt selling that many units.

Why risk putting off some of your core supporters? There has to be quite a few that feel like I do..

I mean digital downloads only account for like 20% of game sales currently.

 

Forceing people to adapt? good idea? Im not so sure.

Might it give them new consumers? maybe... will it cost them support from core nintendo fans? absolutely.

Hell we have a thread on this forum, about a all digital future, and if people would quit playing then. More than 50% voted yes.

 

I can see Nintendo doing a all digital console, and it biteing them in the a**.

I dont want to see nintend fall futher down the ladder than it currently is.
