No, it doesn't. They don't complain no matter what Nintendo does. They complain when Nintendo does stupid things that negatively impacts their profits. Digital only positively impacts them. And Nintendo. And the experience for most consumers.

Physical media goes completely against a truly seamless unified platform, so there is absolutely a point in going digital only.
