I don't know about anybody else, but I feel that avatar customization and interacting with random people is secondary to the network features Home is bringing. Not bad if I want to play mini-games, but I'm more excited about things like grouping up with friends and all jumping into a game at the same time, the trophy room that should bring achievement like awards and such, movies and such available to watch, ect.
