With insomniac's announcement of song of the deep today, gamestop essentially has become a publisher/ third party. What do you all think of gamestop entering this feild (albeit in a limited capacity). Will it help or hurt the industry? does it make gamestop a 'competitor' to other third parties that gamestop relies on to make money.
I personally think it is a smart move, as retail stores continue to shrink in the US. it also makes sense because gamestop joins the group of shared distributors/publishers. (ie EA/ origin, Ubisoft/Uplay, Valve / steam, etc.)
