Do I have buzzwords for you. EA has announced "an all-new experience" on account of its players being "the driving force behind everything we do". In other words it's holding a convention, on June 12 in London and June 12-14 in LA and over the internet.

TORMENT: TIDES OF NUMENERA IS NOW IN EARLY ACCESS
http://www.pcgamer.com/torment-tides-of-numenera-is-now-in-early-access/
InXile's party-based RPG Torment: Tides of Numenera went into beta last week—provided, that is, that you'd backed the game on Kickstarter at a level that offered beta access as a reward. For everyone else, it was tough noogies until today. But now the game is live on Early Access, and if you just can't wait until it's finished to play it, you can leap into the action right now.

JOHN ROMERO IS STILL WORKING ON A NEW SHOOTER
http://www.pcgamer.com/john-romero-is-still-working-on-a-new-shooter/
John Romero, he of Doom and Quake fame, is working on a new shooter. We've known that since 2014, but he hasn't spoken about it since. In fact, he's barely spoken about it now, but at a Zurich games convention this week he let on that he thinks it has a unique concept we haven't seen before.
DYING LIGHT: THE FOLLOWING 'NIGHTMARE MODE' DETAILED
http://www.pcgamer.com/dying-light-the-following-nightmare-mode-detailed/
Dying Light: The Following launches early next month, and in addition to a whole new playable area, buggies and a bunch of silly (read: more brutal) weaponry, there's going to be a new difficulty mode. Predictably enough, the new difficulty mode will be very hard, so Techland have called it 'nightmare' mode.

http://www.pcgamer.com/guild-wars-2-update-brings-gliding-to-central-tyria/
The Guild Wars 2 Winter Update 2016 is live and it's a big one, bringing the sort of change WoW reserved for its Cataclysm expansion. Gliding, introduced to the Maguuma Jungle in Heart of Thorns, is now available throughout the world, meaning you can now hurl yourself from the spires of Divinity's Reach or splatter artistically across the cobbles in Lion's Arch.

LIFE IS STRANGE SPARKS $10K PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION
http://www.pcgamer.com/life-is-strange-sparks-10k-photography-competition/
Square Enix seems determined to make Life is Strange a social endeavour, in the charitable rather than Facebook connectivity sense, which is logical, I suppose, given that many of its events affect us all at some point or another. Apart from the time travelling. First there was an anti-bullying hashtag campaign, #EverydayHeroes, and now Dontnod has launched a photography competition by the same name. There's a $10,000 photography scholarship to be won.
Please excuse my bad English.
