ookaze i bought a lcd HD TV. there are no jaggies on my samsung.
I do agree with you that plasma is better then LCD in some aspects. However LCD gives the better sharpenes hence why i chose it.
However the new models from samsung coming in september with faster refresh rate, bigger contrast ratio, brighter apprently will be in the same league if not better then plasmas (we shall see).
Also you cannot compare the contrast ratio directly between LCD and plasma cause they use a different scale based on the matierals they use in the technology.
When i made the comparrison it was against sony's LCD tvs.
