When will PSP 2 be released?

Also they shouldn't make it too powerful. Around the strength of the original Xbox would be perfect, they can port PS2 classics and create their own unique games aswell.

PSP is already about as powerful as PS2, so I'd expect it to be more powerful than that.

"Almost PS2" to "Xbox" level graphics is a pretty big leap.

I don't understand why everybody wants:

Bigger screen

"Next Gen" graphcs

Dual Analog Sticks

The PSP is proof that handhelds do not improve by becoming more similar to consoles. The DS is proof that innovation and simplicity results in better games. Two analogs on a handheld just isn't practical. Personally, my ideal PSP would just have a slight jump in graphics, more ergonic design/size/button layout, would be less fragile, and have less multimedia focus. Who honestly uses their PSP as an mp3 player? Or to watch movies? The only multimedia my PSP really ends up playing is porn.
