Apple hasn't watched enough Kill La Kill. 
In all seriousness, after looking at their more recent products like the Apple Pencil, and their ugly looking iPhone battery case, I think Apple definitely is starting to lose their sense of direction, not that it matters though, most general consumers will buy up Apple products regardless.
"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."
