Time to talk about future monitors.
TFT Central has listed the future new panels that we'll get this year from the biggest manufacturers: AOU, LG and Samsung. (Note that this is about the new panels, not the new monitors)

AU Optronics
Only two new, curved, ultra-wide panels featuring VA tech and the same 3440x1440 resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate in 35"(Q2) and 30"(Q3) sizes. Note that 3440x1440@144Hz goes beyond what DisplayPort 1.2 can do, so it is expected that they will sport the new DP 1.3 connector.
LG.Display
Four new panels. Three of them will be of their borderless neo-blade line and will come in 23.8", 27" and 31.5" sizes. No info is given on the panels themselves, but expect them to be IPS.
But the main protagonist will arrive in Q3 2016 with a new 37.5" panel that will feature an incredible 3840 x 1600 resolution. It will be an IPS panel with 14ms G2G response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio and 178/178 viewing angles. Given the perfect 2.4:1 design (true cinema screen ratio) and the high response time, this panel will be aimed more towards watching movies rather than gaming.
Samsung
They also have four new panels, with three of them being... unique. The only regular monitor will be a curved 31.5" panel with SVA tech, 2560x1440 resolution and 144Hz. It will arrive in Q3 2016.
Now with the weird ones. The first two will come in 41" and 49" sizes with a FHD+ resolution (they don't know what is that) and the novelty resides in their 32:9 aspect ratio. If 21:9 is already wide, imagine 32:9 that is about 50% wider! Madness.
The last one, which also come in Q3, is a 31.5" panel with whopping 8K4K or 7680 x 4230 resolution. Before anyone gets too excited on the prospect of getting one, all signs point that this will be a professional panel.
Please excuse my bad English.
