I'm a sony fan, and I'll like to think for good reason. But hey, I'm a sony fan so my "good reason" is probably biased.
However, I don't want to or like seeing anyone fail. Including MS. Competition is great.
My problem with MS though is something I think most dont seem to talk about and that culminated in the fiasco of what was the XB1 launch. Ms is just a very very anti consumer company. They abandoned the XB and jumped into the 360, then practically pulled all exclusive support for the 360 almost 2yrs before the launch of the XB1. then with the xb1 they started off trying to tell the gaming community that games aren't that important.
I don't know, MS isn't just a company I can trust with my money. The XB1 will do well enough tho and that's all that matters at the end. As it stands they are kinda doing better or on par with the 360.
