Has been that way for over a decade. The Famitsu sample is heavily biased in favor of PlayStation as far as platforms go, and heavily biased in favor of JRPGs as far as genres are concerned. The most wanted charts also didn't look any different in, say, 2007 when the DS and Wii were selling like hot cakes.

or maybe its because most Japanese Nintendo consumers arent or cant subscribe to Famitsu for polling
