And I'm glad I gave it a shot because I've been a huge fan since. If you can't play Persona 3 or 4, there's Persona 5 coming out soon for PS4. And it looks amazing. Anyway, I was Nintendo-only until N64. After that I got a PS2. And I think everyone should try another console at some point, because it really gives you a different perspective. But unlike you, I got more interested in third party games when I got Sony's console, because Sony is just one developer, and there's just so many of quality on the system. The vast majority of my games on PS2 and PS3 have been third party games. |
It's true, I did say I wanted to be more open minded
My brother has Persona Q on 3DS so I could play that to see if I'd like that sort of game. It does seem interesting with the school / nightmare realm thing going on. I kinda wanna just jump into Persona 5 tho, it looks like a lot was put into it. The animation & everything looks really good. Are the games continuous or can I jump right into 5?
I agree, it definitely gives a different perspective when you try new things, even with gaming. Glad to see you're interested in Street Fughter 5. Thought I was online in that for a bit there

Have you played any PlayStation game older than PS4? Aside from TLOU. You should really check older ganes, at least PS2 and PS3, but also PS1 definitely if you don't mind old graphics. |
Well, I've had some access to PS in the past with my cousins and older brother but didn't get to play much of it at all. I'm a big fan of the older Resident Evil games and wanted to beat Dino Crisis but never got to. Am waiting for them to add PS classics to PS4. I basically only dabbled into other PS games likes Crash & Spyro but might as well of only played demos for them. I did recently beat ICO through PS Now. I'll certainly try to play more of the older games when they become available.
As for Uncharted? I played a demo on my cousins PS3 and didn't care for it too much. It was the 2nd game. I've never been a fan of the Indiana jones / treasure hunting setting either. With that said, TLOU was awesome so it does make me kinda want to give it a full chance. I keep 2nd guessing it tho
