Honestly, what does "I feel like a women inside" mean? You want to look like a woman? isn't that similar to people wanting smaller noses, bigger breasts, thicker penises? Why is the line drawn only when I want my body parts to look more feminine? All fine by me of course, everyone is free to do what they want with their body I am just wondering how wanting female genitalia is different from wanting other body parts to look different .

I am a man I don't feel like "a man inside". I don't feel anything. I am just me.

Why are we defining ourselves with superficial terms?

Ofcourse a straight man understands the pain of a transgender woman living inside a man's body.  :S

I don't understand, that's why I am asking, what's the difference between:

1.A woman who feels trapped inside an ugly woman's body and wants to have plastic sugery

2.A woman who feels trapped inside a man's body and wants to have plastic surgery

Both are living in bodies they don't like, both crave to look different.

Because one of that women needs surgical intervention to help that person overcome their gender dysmorphia. An ugly woman either with the right hairdresser make up artist, some form of dermatological interventions or if she has the money  then she can opt for surgery.Negative body image can be outgrown or ovecome with good self esteem through good company sometimes like a support system consisting of your friends and family. A transgender woman can't because they believe they are a woman. An ugly woman does not believe they are beautiful. Two different scenarios imo.
