The true final boss himself is not that hard so your skells should be able to deal with him easily

I worded that wrong; my on-foot blokes will be level 60 soon; my skells are two level 50s and two level 30s. I can't afford an all-50s team.

Was going to try to beat the Vita on foot so I can save my skells for what comes after.

 

That's ok, two level 50 skells should be more than enough
