When will PSP 2 be released?

For reference: PSP arrived in Dec. 2004 (Japan) and Mar 2005 (U.S.) and PSP Slim arrived in Sept. 2007.

Honestly, I don't have a clue, but you know that Nintendo is tinkering with a GBA 2 or DS 2 and PSP has to be worried about that. But with the PSP's HW resurgence in Japan (even though SW still sells poorly), this gives Sony a bit more time. I'm not sure if they'll come out with another model that tweaks a few things beforehand.

I'll say PSP 2 comes out in Q3 2009.

 

No way it's 2009. No one wants more powerful handheld games yet. senatorpjt: it has to have dual thumbpads, I agree. They will probably go touchscreen as well.
