Hear me out on this, fellow Martians VGChartians, I believe Retro's game is going to be a launch window title for Nintendo's Next console for some good reasons and here are they:

1- Retro's last game was Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, which was released back in February 2014.

2- Despite that, they allegedly started developing their next game back in November 2013; so even if their new console releases late this year, the game would have a good 3 years of development, akin to their previous games.

3- The game may have started its development for Wii U, but certainly won't be released for it since Nintendo is not announcing anything major for it since a very long time.

4- Nintendo needs a good initial line-up of games to convince people, and preferably one that doesn't rely only on a Zelda port + some Mario game, that's too obvious.

Your thoughts?
