I just wonder how often we are going to want to put this headset on over our eyes while we are playing videogames? I guess as it becomes more mainstream and goes into other areas of our life it could be different, but I am not sure how long people will find it different or want to go through all of that. But with technology times are always changing. I am sure I will be sitting here typing to you with a VR on at this time next year thinking nothing of it.

I think that's just it. We simply don't know yet. All I know is that I've seen this happen before. with the walkman, the iPod then the iPhone. All devices that at the time people couldn't wrap their heads around or had some major barrier of entry problem to overcome. But they did and that was it.

it's not about people findig it different. It's that there are some experiences that can only happen with VR. There are things we do today that if done right in VR will forever change the way people "want to experience the same thing".

As of right now the biggest barrier is price and complexity. But I believe there is enough for VR to have a firm footing in the industry to build on. And there has never been new tech that came cheap to begin with. But as they become mainstream, those costs are absorbed and before you know it even the average Joe thinks they are normal.
