45% tax on all DLC is a good point?  Are you serious?

Even if we pretended that was possible, which is itself ridiculous, it doesn't even make sense.  Games are bigger than they've ever been.  If they aren't making money when they produce this extra content then they're simply not going to make it at all.

Even from a practical standpoint, the idea is awful.  Why do we want the government to make extra money off the gaming industry?  Why do we even want to allow them to tax anything at such an insane rate?  Beyond that, by what right does anyone decide for others that they shouldn't have DLC?

If it's such a good point, please explain how.

No. Who's making ridiculous jokes now? I don't remember discussing a tax on dlc ever. Let alone a ridiculous one like that. Please.

I have had another post in the thread. Why not try reading that? Or what others have written? The OP has generated discussion, despite many here simply thinking it's purely a joke.

Wait, what?  You quote my post, which was clearly directed toward the OP, and say that he had a point.  I discuss what the OP said because that's what your reply talked about, and now you're asking me why I didn't address your other post which actually came after my initial post?

That doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

If you don't want to talk about what the OP said then don't bring it up.  If you want to talk about what you said in a separate post then you can damn sure repeat or quote what you said when you reply to me.  I'm not going to go, "hm, maybe he had another post, I should check the thread before I reply and talk about that, even though it had nothing to do with mine."  I'm not going to do your work for you.

Holy cats.
