I disagree. This gen is starting slow I'll admit for PS4 & XB1 but it should get better starting this year.
The Wii U has been a bit of a downgrade compared to what I got on past Nintendo systems but has still been decent to say the least. 3DS has been pretty good for handheld standards. (considering I don't care for HH's as much)
As for the DLC, broken games, season passes, ect: Maybe I'm just weird but I don't mind it. If a game is broken, It'll get patched anyway and if it doesn't, don't buy it. Plenty of other games. Plus, honestly, I find some of the glitches to be entertaining 
I support DLC too. Obviously, if it's not worth it and nothing but a cash grab, I won't get it but normally I like the content given.
