Slightly off-topic, but I've always enjoyed how simultaneously depressing and optimistic both potential outcomes of the climate change debate are.
We are causing climate change:
+ We might be able to stop it!
- We suck.
We aren't causing climate change:
+ We don't suck!
- We likely can't do much to stop it.
