I couldn't go earlier than vi as the only game I remember playing in its time was the original. Doesn't seem fair to rank those I didn't have firsthand experience with at the time.

Haha I'd say the biggest controversy with yours is VIII ahead of VII.

I rather liked VIII myself... I still think it had about the most epic Intro cinematic/music I've ever seen. I really liked the Seed thing too, I think a sequel where you're just a mercenary getting hired and paid based on rank would be fun.

Still need someone to explain the ending to me though :p
